Our client wanted an accessory dwelling unit in her backyard for family and friends, with the added flexibility for rental income. We removed the original structure, which was an old garage in the back yard and built a one bedroom ADU. This little house has all the modern conveniences – stacking washer and dryer, LED lighting, mini-split heat pump for energy efficient heating and air conditioning, functional kitchen dining and living area, on demand water heater, high R-value insulation, floating wood floor over a concrete slab, Marvin windows with integral trim.
